The information contained on this website is provided by Clockworks Emporium for general informational, educational, and commercial purposes. By using this website, requesting services, scheduling an appointment, purchasing merchandise, or otherwise conducting business with Clockworks Emporium, you acknowledge the following terms and notices.
Website Information
Clockworks Emporium makes reasonable efforts to provide accurate and current information. However, information regarding products, inventory, pricing, availability, repair services, estimated repair costs, service areas, turnaround times, warranties, and other matters may change without notice.
Nothing displayed on this website constitutes a guaranteed repair estimate, guaranteed product availability, or guarantee that a particular clock can be successfully repaired.
Repair Estimates
Any repair prices displayed on this website are general examples or starting prices only.
Every clock must be evaluated individually. Actual repair costs may vary depending upon the clock's age, condition, movement, complexity, previous repairs, damage, parts availability, and labor required.
A repair estimate is based upon conditions reasonably identifiable at the time of inspection. Additional problems may become apparent after a clock is disassembled, cleaned, adjusted, repaired, or tested.
If significant repairs, labor, or parts beyond those originally authorized become necessary, Clockworks Emporium will make reasonable efforts to obtain customer authorization before performing that additional work.
Antique & Vintage Clocks
Customers acknowledge that antique and vintage clocks may contain aged, worn, brittle, deteriorated, modified, previously repaired, or obsolete components.
Clockworks Emporium will exercise reasonable care when handling customer property. However, the repair or operation of antique and vintage mechanisms inherently involves risks associated with age, wear, material deterioration, previous repairs, and unavailable components.
Repairing one component or condition does not constitute restoration or replacement of the entire clock unless specifically stated in writing.
House Calls & Service Charges
House calls currently start at $100 within a 20-mile radius of Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
Locations beyond the included service area may incur an additional travel charge. Current travel charges and applicable service fees will be communicated when scheduling whenever reasonably possible.
House-call charges cover travel, the scheduled visit, and a basic assessment of the clock unless otherwise stated.
Repair labor and replacement parts are separate charges.
Parts & Special Orders
Replacement components may include original manufacturer parts, aftermarket parts, new-old-stock, rebuilt, refurbished, or used components depending upon availability and customer authorization.
Clockworks Emporium may require partial or full advance payment for parts that must be ordered. Advance-payment requirements are determined on a case-by-case basis and may depend upon the cost, availability, shipping expense, and special-order nature of the component.
Special-order parts may be nonrefundable when the supplier does not permit cancellation or return.
Warranty
Unless otherwise stated in writing, qualifying Clockworks Emporium repairs carry a 60-day limited workmanship warranty covering the specific repair performed.
This warranty does not constitute a warranty covering the entire clock or unrelated components.
Replacement parts are subject to the warranty provided by the applicable manufacturer or supplier, if any.
Used, refurbished, rebuilt, new-old-stock, and customer-supplied components may have limited warranty coverage or no parts warranty.
Additional warranty terms and exclusions may appear on the customer's estimate, invoice, or service agreement.
Customer Property & Unclaimed Clocks
Customers are responsible for maintaining current contact information and arranging prompt payment and retrieval of completed repairs.
Property remaining unpaid or unclaimed for an extended period may be subject to Clockworks Emporium's abandoned-property policy.
Our current policy provides that clocks remaining unpaid and/or unclaimed for 90 days following the final invoice or notice of completion may be treated as abandoned, subject to applicable Tennessee law and any legally required notices or procedures.
Clockworks Emporium reserves whatever lawful rights or remedies may be available to recover unpaid charges for authorized labor, parts, services, and other applicable expenses.
Online Merchandise
Product photographs, descriptions, measurements, condition reports, and other information are provided in good faith.
Antique, vintage, pre-owned, and collectible merchandise may exhibit normal wear, aging, patina, imperfections, repairs, alterations, or other characteristics consistent with its age and history.
Customers should carefully review individual product descriptions and photographs before purchasing.
